Web portal for victims of and/or witnesses to violations of international criminal law – General information:

If you have been a victim of or a witness to war crimes, genocide or crimes against humanity and if you would like to pass on information to the Swiss police, you can do so via this web portal. Your information may be essential for a criminal investigation.

If you have been a victim of and/or a witness to:

• physical and/or psychological abuse or mistreatment committed by members of armed forces (including torture, abduction, deportation, rape, looting, use of biological or chemical weapons or mines);
• an attack directed against the civilian population (including bodily harm or killing);
• an attack on civilian property (including ambulances, hospitals, cultural property, schools and religious buildings);
• mistreatment of members of armed forces who have laid down their arms,

We will treat any information you provide in the strictest confidence, respecting the international data processing standards applicable to cases of war crimes, genocide and crimes against humanity.
