Marco Jeker

Co-Head of the Communications and Executive Staff Office Division

Since 1 July 2025, Marco Jeker has served as co-head of the Communications and Executive Staff Office Division alongside Barbara Odermatt. He has held various positions at fedpol since 2018, including head of the Executive Staff Office and co-head of the Governance and Planning Section in the Crime Prevention and Legal Affairs Directorate. Prior to joining fedpol, he worked from 2014 to 2018 as a policy officer at the General Secretariat of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs. Marco Jeker studied History, Geography, and Communication and Media Studies at the University of Bern, and has a Master’s degree in Public Administration.
